Bayesian methods for palaeoclimate reconstruction

Bayesian modelling is especially useful when palaeoclimate evidence is incomplete, heterogeneous or uncertain. These studies use hierarchical models, structural time series and latent-state approaches to combine records while representing uncertainty explicitly.
